Investing in funds - step by step.

Step 1:
Reflect what you want to achieve investing in funds and how much time you need for it. Think for a moment: will you take a greater risk, counting on greater profits after a certain amount of time, or do you prefer steady - although comparatively not that great - grow of the capital invested.

Step 2:
Acquaint yourself with the current offer of Union Investment funds.

Choose those that would help you realize your goal:

  • Read the informational prospectus, including the statute of the fund - especially in the scope of its investment policy.
  • Check the current unit value, the minimum payment is and the fees (Table of Fees) for a given fund.
  • Look for information regarding a promotion - maybe there is one even now!

Step 3:
Open a register in the fund that you have chosen.

You can do this in 3 ways:

  • visit a Customer Service Point (abbreviation: CSP) located at the nearest brokerage house or in one of the banks that cooperate with us. Find out what transactions you can make at a CSP (>Customer Service Points). A full list of CSP’s you will find on our site (CSP).
  • by correspondence - opening a register with the means of the internet form “Promotion – no fees”. After printing and completing the form, send it to the address of the ProService Transfer Agent and make payment on the account of the fund in which you have opened a register. Acquaint yourself with the regulations of the promotion “Directly – no fees”. You can find regulations and the promotional form in Useful information>Downloads.
  • by signing at a CSP a contract for service using the UniSieć Transaction - Information System and opening a register through UniSieć. How can you do this? Go to the part “UniSieć internet orders”. After signing a contract you will receive by mail confidential access data to the system, and a link to activate UniSieć by e-mail.

Step 4:
Pay the appropriate amount of money.
You can do this in a few different ways: with cash at a CSP (where you have opened the account), by postal order, bank transfer or transfer from your internet bank account. For more information, go to the section >Non-cash payments.

Step 5:
A confirmation that your order is realized will be mailed to your postal address that was given at the opening of the register.
On the confirmation will be your personal data, number of participation units purchased, the register number, register balance and information about other services which will now be available for you.

If you are using the UniSieć channel, you will also see all your transactions and register balance via internet at any time. If you subscribe to receiving information via e-mail, you will be e-mailed after every transaction.
