What does the promotion involve?

The promotion consists in exempting the investor from fees for the acquisition of sub-fund units opened in one of the following ways:

  • Visit the Customer Service Point at the Union Investment office.
  • Open the register with the help of the Company’s employee.
  • Perform the transfer of money to the sub-fund’s account.

Investment policy The subfund invests in money market instruments and bonds issued by Central and East European countries, corporate bonds and other debt securities issued by entities domiciled in Central and East European countries, as well as other debt securities not mentioned above. The proportion of other investment categories in the subfund should be lower than 30% of the value of the assets. Subfund geographic area: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Turkey, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Malta, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania. Investments are primarily made on the basis of current ratings and the development prognoses for the macroeconomic situation of the country issuing securities, and their impact on market interest rates.
Investor profile The subfund is addressed to investors who:

  • want to take part in profits from bonds issued in the region of Central and East Europe,
  • want to take part in growth of investment value and in income from interests of debt securities issued by entities from Central and East Europe,
  • have investment horizon of at least 2 years,
  • accept moderate investment risk,
  • want to mitigate the risk by geographical diversification in the region,
  • want to have a transparent and flexible form of investment with high liquidity.
